Abortion is on the Ballot in 2024
Our Vote is Our Voice.
Elections offer us the opportunity to advance our vision of reproductive health, rights, and justice for all people.
Reproductive Freedom is a Jewish Value.
Judaism teaches that abortion is not only permitted but is required when the life of the pregnant person is at risk.
Abortion bans are a direct threat to Jewish religious freedom.
Judaism teaches us to respect and affirm the dignity of all people.
We all deserve to make our own moral decisions about our body, health, and family.
Restrictions on abortion and reproductive health care are rooted in Christian extremism and white supremacy, in conflict with our nation’s core promise of religious liberty and justice for all.
When we show up to vote for abortion access, we send a clear message that bans on abortion violate our religious freedom and Jewish values.
We will not give up until all people can make their own decisions for their bodies, lives, and future.
Vote YES for Reproductive Freedom with NCJW
Protect Abortion in the Colorado Constitution
We’re putting a constitutional amendment on the November 2024 ballot to protect abortion from government interference.
Vote YES to:
Protect abortion from government interference in the Colorado Constitution.
Remove the 1984 insurance coverage ban for abortion care.
Expand insurance coverage for public servants – everyone from the governor to firefighters to a local librarian – and people enrolled in Colorado Medicaid.
Recognize the right to abortion in Colorado’s Constitution to push back against future efforts by politicians to restrict it.
Vote YES on 4 in Florida
A YES vote means ending Florida’s extreme abortion ban, saving lives and health, and getting the government out of our exam rooms and medical decisions.
Why YES matters:
All Floridians deserve the freedom to make their own healthcare decisions without political interference.
We trust women and their doctors, not politicians, to make decisions about care.
Amendment 4 will remove ALL politicians — regardless of their party affiliation — from our private medical decisions.
Vote YES on Question 1 in Maryland
Voting YES on Question 1 protects reproductive freedom, including access to abortion, ensuring these rights are safeguarded in our state constitution.
Vote YES because:
Freedom from government interference in deeply personal decisions, such as abortion, is essential. The decision should be up to patients, not politicians.
The national threat to reproductive rights is real. States across the country have banned abortion and attacked other reproductive services. By voting YES, we protect these rights in Maryland for generations to come.
Voting YES adds an extra layer of protection to our existing abortion laws, ensuring our freedoms remain in our hands despite political changes.
Vote to End Abortion Bans in Missouri
A YES vote ends Missouri’s abortion ban and gives women the power to make their own decisions without politicians interfering.
Vote YES because:
Politicians should not be involved in personal decisions. Patients and their doctors should decide what’s right for their unique situation. But here in Missouri, politicians are making those decisions for us.
Missouri has one of the most extreme bans in the country. Abortion is completely banned at any stage of a pregnancy, with no exceptions for rape or incest.
Regardless of how you personally feel about abortion, this vote will determine who makes decisions about your health and your family. Missourians want to make their own decisions, not have politicians make decisions for them. Voting yes will make sure patients are treated with compassion, dignity, and privacy – not shame or judgment.
Vote YES on Prop 1 in New York
This November, vote YES on Prop 1 to protect our rights and reproductive freedoms, including abortion.
Vote YES to:
Guarantee our reproductive rights and freedoms so they are permanently protected, regardless of what politicians attempt to do in the future.
Close loopholes to make sure New Yorkers cannot be discriminated against by the government based on reproductive health care choices, pregnancy, or pregnancy outcomes.
Ensure New Yorkers keep and protect what they want most: fundamental rights without political interference.
Even in New York, out-of-touch politicians have introduced 53 anti-abortion and anti-women bills in the last decade.
Voting YES ensures our reproductive rights and freedoms — including abortion — are protected.
Vote YES on Prop 139 in Arizona
Abortion access saves lives! Vote YES to Prop 139 to protect Arizonans’ reproductive freedom.
Vote YES because:
Private and personal medical decisions belong to patients, their families, and their providers — not politicians.
Arizonans deserve the freedom to make their own healthcare decisions.
2024 Voter Education Cards
Our 2024 Voter Education Cards provide you with quick facts about voting “YES” to Reproductive Freedom.
Voting is Jewish.
A Jewish midrash (interpretive story) teaches, “If a person sits in their home and says to themselves, ‘What have the affairs of society to do with me?... Why should I trouble myself with the people’s voices of protest? Let my soul dwell in peace!’ — If one does this, they overthrow the world” (Midrash Tanhuma, Mishpatim 2:1). Staying on the sidelines is in itself an act of destruction. We each must do our part to repair the world.
